What if I don't like the design?

We have a tried and tested process for all our website builds, which includes a research phase, understanding your design preferences and getting feedback throughout the course of the design. This ultimately saves time and results in a site you are happy with.

I don't have any good images

This is a common problem but not one which need create a barrier. We have a number of incredible photographers, all specialists within the creative industry, and who we are used to working with to get the shots that we need. Until you have a bank of amazing images it’s surprising what you can do with a few good shots.

How long will it take to build my site?

This depends on a few factors, namely what you have existing in terms of images, branding etc; the sort of site we are building; and the level of functionality required. The average build time is somewhere in the region of six weeks from start to finish.

I can't write copy

Not a problem, we will write the copy for you. We will also work with you to create messaging that makes it crystal clear what your business does and why you customers should work with/ buy from you.

Can I tell how my website is performing?

Absolutely. Your site will be connected up to Google Analytics and Google Console. If you love data you can access both of these to dive deep. If you just want an overview we will send you a monthly report with top level visitor information and performance stats.

My branding isn't very strong can you help?

We work with a number of designers and brand specialists, if you want to really crack your branding in a big way we can manage this whole process so that it is completely seamless for you. If you are looking for something more modest we can work on strengthening your brand throughout the course of the build.

Do you offer hosting?

We use private hosting that is fantastically reliable and makes our sites incredibly speedy. Your first year of hosting is included in the build from the start of the project depending on the package level you go for.

Does my site belong to me?

Your site will be completely your property following your final invoice. Most of our customers elect to stay with us (we have customers that have been with us for over 10 years) but you are free to use other developers, move your site to alternative hosting or amend it in any way you like.

Will I be able to make changes myself?

All of our sites are built on an easy to use drag and drop interface. Editing your content, changing images, updating products and managing your store is very easy and we are always happy to provide training/ support where necessary. Equally if you are allergic to technology we are very happy to make edits of any complexity on your behalf.

I don't have a logo/ hate my logo

This is a common complaint. We work with a number of designers and will be able to match you with the right person to create a logo you love. What’s more we will manage the whole process for you.

Will my site work on a mobile?

All of our sites are mobile responsive across a range of devices and screen sizes. There may be elements that don’t work so well on a mobile device but in this case we just replace them with something more appropriate to the mobile version.

will I have to do any maintenance on my site?

Not at all. We can take care of all the technical maintenance required to keep your site safe and running smoothly. What’s more your first year is included in your build, along with your first year of hosting.

Do I need a website name?

You will need what is described as a URL/ domain name. This is usually the name of your business or at least represents what your business does. If you are starting out we can advise you on choosing a name and take care of the purchase for you.

What is SEO and do I need it?

SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is the practice of trying to make your website rank (appear in the search results) in Google and other search engines, for your chosen keywords. These would usually be phrases associated with what you are trying to sell via your website, be it services or products. Our sites are all SEO ready and we have a fabulous technical team who can create and manage an SEO strategy for you, or help with advice on how to do it yourself.
