The Country Cottage Company wanted mouth wateringly beautiful. The brief was for a site made up of images illustrated with a small amount of wording. Not an approach we would always recommend but actually in this case it worked wonderfully well. Phil and Hannah are always busy with a string of fabulous projects and a business that is predominantly word of mouth but a website that wows new referrals.

Although the brief was for an image heavy site and the clients had some incredible projects under their belt the images they had just didn’t do them justice. So once we had the content framework and information flow was finalised, we worked with interiors photographer Claire Williams to get the right shots to tell the story.
A site with this many enormous images could be painfully slow, but with our super fast private hosting and several rounds of image compression the average response time is 400 milliseconds.
